Compliance Log

  • The compliance log is displayed in the Web Administration and can be moved to an external storage if it is not the compliance log for the current year.
  • A new Compliance Log file is created for each new year with the corresponding year as name
  • The Compliance Log is only filled if e-mail archiving is activated.
  • The Compliance Log contains all compliance-relevant processes that result from the mail flow, archiving, tasks and audits.
  • In order for the history of an e-mail to be displayed in the user interface, the corresponding compliance log for the appliance must be accessible.

The following steps are necessary to move the Compliance Log to an external storage:

  1. Select a remote storage via Settings
  2. Confirm the entry with Save
  3. Select a Compliance Log to be moved and press the "Move to remote storage" button.
  4. Depending on the size of the Compliance Log and the storage performance, this process may take some time.

The report is used to check relevant processes.

This includes the following processes:

  • Audit sessions
  • Categorisation tasks
  • Copy Tasks
  • Move Tasks
  • Delete Tasks
  • Export Taks

To generate a report, select one of the corresponding tasks and the desired time period and click on "Show Report".
